First of all let me say that we had a wonderful time in Baan Timbalee it really is a lovely big spacious villa for a family.
The kids just loved the pool and the garden is very well kept, we didn't spot 1 weed it was just perfect. The house was great, very clean and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen.
We loved all the inflatable pool toys that you had there which saved us buying some and the cool boxes that you had was great.
I gave 9 for the location just because by the sea would be perfect.
The car was great too, thanks a lot.

We enjoyed three indulgent weeks at Baan Timbalee. The modern house is superbly built and immaculate. The surrounding roadways and gardens are a pleasure to wander around. It enjoys all the facilities we could wish for. Although only the two of us, it would clearly suit a family with small children, in terms of pool security, childrens' room and provision of toys etc. The service we received was excellent from arrival to departure. Koh Samui is a small island, so everywhere is quite accessible, the busy nearby village of Mae Nam being less than 1km, and featuring an excellent range of restaurants where eating out becomes a renewed pleasure. The local beaches are convenient, and well served, as are the others. Everyday needs are served by the ubiqitous 7/11s seemingly each with its own aTM. Western influences include a huge Tesco and Starbucks coffee house. We very happily commend Baan Timbalee to you.Keith Mcardle (June 15th, 2011) - rating 100%
I cannot say enough nice things about this place. My wife, two children and I had a wonderful 10 days at this place. It was quiet, secluded, tropical and luxurious. Stuart, the caretaker, was helpful, hospitable and amazingly generous with his time and his local knowledge. The owners were great about the payments and EVERYTHING just seemed to work so well that my wife and I both said that it really didn't seem like a vacation. The only local knowledge thing that I would pass along is that you absolutely need a rental car if you stay here. That is also easy since the owners and the caretaker both help with that part as well. We had the rental car waiting for us when we arrived and it was CHEAP to rent too! The Santaburi golf course is about 10 minute drive away, the busy markets and strips of clubs and hustle and bustle are but a distant memory when at the house but can be accessed easily on the island.A.Torris (June 14th, 2011) - rating 100%

-September 2010 Yes I was very impressed with this villa, it offered everything my wife and I required especially for our children.The owners where so thoughtful they even left beach toys and books for our children to play with, it really makes all the differance to arrive in a villa that is like home.Other villas we have hired are always bare, but this place is great and we will be back.Thank you to alena and family at Baan Timbalee. Dear Alena We had the most amazing time whilst on samui not least of all because we got married but also because we had a beautiful house to stay in. Everything was just perfect and Stuart was such a big help and dealt and explained everything perfectly. My husbands family were also staying at Samran gardens (although their place was nowhere near as nice as yours), and they had a fab time too. I can honestly say that we felt like we were in a home and not just a place to stay. My family who live on Koh phangan came to visit on the morning of our wedding and they too thought the house was amazing. We thank you for your email and hope this answers your questions. I understand it must be a huge thing to rent out your house and we hope everyone who stays there enjoys and respects it as much as we did. Aug 27, 2010 "Paradise on earth!" Renting a house over internet is always challenging. Of course photos are available, but aren't we too often over cautious? Well I was. But the support and the availability of the owner ahead of our stay were great. Thanks, Alena! Now of course, our expectations were at the top when we got there, after a red eye flight with children! Well no disappointment! Stuart, the resort manager, welcomed us nicely in ... a paradise! Exactly what you can expect from the pictures and the description. The villa is 2 km away from the coast, in the middle of a beautiful tropical forest, in the north part of the island, 15 minutes away from Chaweng. So nice restaurants and frenzy is close-by while the house is in a calm and protected environment. The best of the two worlds! The house is decorated with a lot of taste and has all amenities you could expect. And when the night comes, the tasteful lighting makes it magic! In short you really feel like a welcomed guest in a beautiful house! We already booked it for our next stay! :-)
